Before Luke can return to base, he is attacked by a wampa ice creature and taken to its cave to be a future meal. Using the Force, and his father’s lightsaber, he escapes. Blindly stumbling through a swirling snowstorm, Luke collapses from exhaustion. Before he loses consciousness, an image of Ben tells him to go to the Dagobah system for Jedi training.
